Salem High School CTE Ambassadors Visit Eighth Graders to Promote the Benefits of the CTE Curriculum
A key part of Salem Public Schools’ core value of elevating learning involves our scholars serving as ambassadors for our Career Technical Education (CTE) programming.
On Thursday, for the first time, several Salem High School CTE ambassadors visited eighth-grade scholars the Saltonstall School, Collins Middle School and Salem Academy Charter School to raise awareness and promote the invaluable benefits of the CTE program and the vast opportunities they provide.
“Our ambassadors embody the core values of helping other students explore and discover careers while communicating the critical role that CTE plays in the lives of students and the global community,” said Mario Sousa, CTE Director and Co-op Coordinator. “More than a simple field trip or site visit, a CTE ambassador visit is designed and structured to be educationally rich.”
